BOOK WEEK CELEBRATION 2009

          November 10 – 14, 2009 was a week dedicated to the celebration of books in our school. The [ MIC] Multiple Intelligences Center planned and implemented some activities to give highlight  to the importance of books to everyone in school.

          What student, teacher or just anybody else not had their hands handle and open a  book? What student, teacher or anybody else not able to read a book? You have, they have, I have , we all have read a book.

          And not just a book but many, many, many b o o o o o k s!

          I believe you would agree that we all owe  books one, two, three and a hundred  reasons.  And for  this, we need to celebrate their existence. Did you know that there are celebrations held the world over in honor of books?

          And we are no exception. We just did this in Don Bosco Technical Institute – Makati!

          In celebration of BOOK WEEK, in the Grade School we had:
           STORY TELLING at the MIC
   HOLDING of a BOOK FAIR at the GS ground floor
DIORAMA MAKING
              BOOK TALK
MY WISH LIST ACTIVITY
COLORING CONTEST

           The High School students did their part too to celebrate BOOK WEEK. They took time to make these activities possible:            
  POEM WRITING by the Seniors 
BOOK JACKET MAKING by the Freshmen
SLOGAN MAKING by the Sophomores
 PAGSULAT ng TULA by the Juniors
