Rector’s Cup - The Finals

            It was a bright and sunny day last January 29, 2010 , the  start of the  56th Foundation Day Celebration of our school Don Bosco Technical Institute – Makati.

            As we celebrated the 1st day of our foundation, the championship games for Rector’s Cup Personnel Intramurals began at 9:00a.m.  Final games for Volleyball between The House of Ricaldone (Blue Team), and The House of Rinaldi (Red Team). Team Rialdone took the 1st set, but Team Rinaldi bounced back on the 2nd set, to even the match and forced for a 3rd and final set. Tired but eager to win the 3rd set, Team Rinaldi  gave Team Ricaldone, a good fight but suddenly they came short, and left  the door open to Team Ricaldone  to grab the championship.

            As the final game for Volleyball ended, the final games for Basketball began.  Team Ricaldone wanted to duplicate the achievements that the Volleyball Team got. But The House of Rua (Black Team) did not let it happen as they planned to grab the championship too. As expected by the students and co-LMP’S who  watched the game, it was a head to head battle between the two teams fighting for championship which  sizzled the crowd. In the end, Team Rua came home victorious.

            On the other events,  The House of Albera, (Yellow Team) bagged the championship for Badminton, as well as Chess. Team Ricaldone, pocketed the Billiard Championship and The House of Rinaldi threw a bulls eye to take home the Championship for Darts.

            It was a tiring day for all LMP’S who participated and played for the Rector’s Cup Finals. But pain and fatigue was nothing for an annual event like this that promote friendship and camaraderie for all LMP’S of Don Bosco Technical Institute – Makati.

            CHEERS TO ALL LMP’S….  WE ARE ALL CHAMPIONS!!!
