Last December 26, 2009 to January  3, 2010, the Senior Scouts, along with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines of Don Bosco Technical Institute-Makati joined the 26th Asia -Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree held at Mt. Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna.

For  nine days, the scouts spent hours learning new skills such as rock-climbing, rapelling, aquatics, ropework, basic martial arts, jungle survival, and extreme challenge. Also, the scouts were exposed to their duties to others through activities like Go Green, Global Development Village, and Social Accountability. These said tasks tested their mettle and eventually steeled them to be better scouts, and even more, responsible citizens.

Not only did the scouts enhance their physical and mental skills but they also  honed their social skills as they mingled with the other scouts from other districts and from other countries and made friends with them. This proved that Bosconian Scouts are indeed sociable because they were able to make a lot of new friends, notably from South Korea, Japan, and Vietnam.

Those nine days at the mountains were extreme tests of brains and brawns, but the experiences gained are something worth treasuring and worth remembering.
