MAKATI PERSONNEL WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL TEAM
Scores a FOUR-Peat

      DBTI - Makati Personnel Volleyball further cemented its status as Volleyball Powerhouse last Friday, December 4, 2009 by getting the FASAAPS title for the 4th time at the  Don Bosco Gym. The team made its case for being the most dominant team in women's FASAAPS Volleyball Tournament when it won the 2009 championship with a 7-0 record and went the entire tournament without losing a set.

      DBTI - Makati used a strong line-up composed of A. Dantes, J. Cruz, K. Tariman, H. Abaygar, M. Alcancia, L. Simbulan, Jill Cruz, M. Herrera, S. Sacris, K. Elanga and D. Balingit to eliminate the (RTU) Rizal Technological University by 3-0 in the best of five sets. Although the RTU was backed up by former National Philippine Team players and former varsity players, the DBTI – Makati team played their best with their accurate spikes and good defense to take the game in 1 hour and twenty minutes.

      The win not only made history but also gave volleyball coaches Fr. Anthony Paul Bicomong, SDB and  Ric Reyes the chance to have another 4 peat in the incoming Don Bosco League this coming January 2010.
