Bosconians clash at DBAA (FIN) Regional Boscolympics 2009

        Saturday's sparkling morning sunshine of November 28, 2009 greeted enthusiastic and athletic Bosconians coming from the different Don Bosco School settings namely Tarlac, Pampanga, Canlubang, Sta. Rosa, Mandaluyong and Makati as they gathered for the opening salvo of games held at the sports grounds of Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati City for the much awaited DBAA Regional Boscolympics 2009.

       The following sports competitions commenced namely basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and chess for the Grade School and High School divisions organized by the Don Bosco Athletic Association, (FIN). The sports competition ran from November 28 – 30, 2009.

       Competitions on the different events came very intense as different teams battled it out to the top two ranks to qualify for a championship berth. Eyed teams for a title shot were particularly noticeable as successions of games were played going towards the finals.

       November 29, Sunday, games broke the day with more aggressive and persistent teams aiming for the finals of the day particularly chess, table tennis, badminton and volleyball.

       November 30, the last day of the DBAA Boscolympics Meet, set the finals for basketball and football. DB Makati HS team clashed with the formidable DB Tarlac HS team in basketball. Simultaneously, DB Pampanga HS team faced a no loss card DB Makati HS team in football. For the Grade School division, DB Makati GS team basketball swept challenger DB Tarlac GS team at the championships. For the football finals, DB Pampanga GS team remained undefeated against the DB Mandaluyong GS team.

        After a hard work at the games, the following emerged as winners of the DBAA BOSCOLYMPICS:
