T urning back few weeks ago, Bosconians of all ages from North to South stood proud again. United with one heart they commemorated the giant leap Salesians have made as it turned to its golden years. The fire of enthusiasm and thanksgiving was highlighted by Techno-Cultural Exhibit held at Glorietta. Needless to say the affair amazed and fascinated a lot of visitors from all walks of life as they witnessed the humble present of the trained hands and creative minds of Bosconians. Words couldn't be enough to describe the happiness brought to the heart of the young who gave their talent and exerted so much effort for its success. But who are these guys? Well, lets go down deep and recognize what is within.
"If I will have to choose a team for another project, I will go for these team whom I worked with." These were the words of Mr. Loreto San Pedro, Asst. Technical Director of MTD and also one of those who spearheaded the recently held exhibit, when he proudly introduced his group of trainees from Mechanical Batch 58 and Automotive Evening Batch 15/57 to the crowd of MTD trainees. Perhaps these trainees deserved more than recognition and appreciation but also respect. They worked hard beyond expectation and finished it as scheduled even if it meant a restless Christmas vacation. Thus, for them it was not a job for they received no salary, but a mission because on their shoulder was a task they didn't expect. They understood that the fruit of their actions would not only reflect their personal skills and talent but would be the representation of the whole MTD. They didn't want to screw up, not even to fail. They were obliged to carry the responsibility and proved once and for all that the MTD is " Great Wall" standing beyond all. They knew it very well in their heart by showing high motivation and dedication as they work with solid teamwork.
They were not popular or extraordinary after proving their worth, for their contribution is unrecognizable at one glance. They worked behind the scene but served as the backbone of exhibit. But to what they had shown, their attitude was classic and worth emulation among us all.
