BOSCONIAN WINNERS IN KARATE TOURNAMENTS

Nine Grade School Students joined the Milo Super Karate Kids Tournament held last August 24, 2008 at SM Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga and they qualified for the NCR Milo Super Karate Kids TOURNAMENT to be held on October, 2008 at SM - North Edsa.

 

Commendation is given to the following:
1. Maverick T. Delos Reyes

2. Mark Allen C. Puen  
6-4  Caravario
3. Ken C. Inoue    
6- 3  Versiglia
4. Aaron Nol T. Bautista 
4-1  Rua
5. J Hendrick Claveria

3-2 Rinaldi
7. Kevin Allen C. Puen 
3-7 Namuncura
8. John Kyle T. Bautista
2-7 Namuncura 

9.  Carlo Jose T. Bolleser of 2-4   Caravario won the Silver Medal in the Boys Kumite, 7 yrs. Old Division. He is now the CONTENDER for the Milo National Championships in  November,  2008 at the SM Mall of Asia.

The Coaches of these Super Karate Kids are no other than Sensei (Teacher) Rey M. Bolleser and Shihan( Master) Victor Laxamana.

Another event participated by  the DON BOSCO – Makati City KARATEDO TEAM is the  2nd Pampanga Martial Arts Brotherhood Invitational Championship Tournament atRobinson’s Place, Balibago Angeles City, last June 22, 2008.

Three Grade School boys won Gold and  Silver Medals in the KUMITE Event -  Boys Division. They are the following:

            1. Kevin Allen C. Puen of 3- 7 –  GOLD
                    7-8 Years Old age category Kumite

            2. John Michael T. Bolleser of 3-2 -  SILVER
                    9 -10 Years Old Age Category Kumite

  3. Mark Allen C. Puen of 6 -  SILVER
         11 -12 Years Old Age Category Kumite

In the High School, three students and an alumnus won 3Gold medals and 2 Silver medals in the tournament.
The team emerged 2nd over-all Champion in spite of not having an entry in the Girls Division.

The Team members who gathered the awards are:

         13 -14 Years old -  Kata & Kumite
  2.   Darry C. Jayo of 3-2 - SILVER
         13 -14 Years old -  Kumite
  3. Josep Allen A . Argosino of 3 - 4 
         13 -14 Years old age -  Kumite
  4. Crisanto V. Panganiban  (former ID4: Alumnus) – GOLD 
         15 -17 Years old -  Kumite

Come September 28, 2008, the same team members will defend their titles in the same tournament.
